WPS button on your existing Wi-Fi Router.
● WPS led changes to solid green on the Netgear extender when you establish

● Now, unplug the extender from the socket and move it to the new desired
position.
● While the power LED is on, use the Netgear extender light to determine
whether the connection between the extender and the router is optimum or
not. Amber or Greenlight indicates they found an ideal location of the
extender, but if the LED glows RED, then put the extender closer to the router
to enhance the connection.
● Once you found a perfect location, then connect any wireless device to the
extender. It will accept the existing Wi-Fi name and adds _2gext or _5gext in
the end. You can pick any one of them.
● When connecting to Wi-Fi extender, utilize the same Wi-Fi password as of
your router and work with the client led light on the extender to ensure the
extender setup is successfully finished or not.
Note: If the client LED is green, the setup and installation gets completed, or
if it’s red, then the range extender is not reaching the area due to the weak
Wi-Fi signals, then if possible, relocate your device little near to the extender
until the client link Led shifts red to green.
